This vintage railway film, produced by the Southern Railway in 1944 and dealing with safety, takes the form of a conversation between two fellow rail travellers, one a "wise" middle-aged man, the other a somewhat impetuous younger man, illustrated by flash-backs and scenes showing Southern Railway working practice. The younger man, arm in sling, recounts various accidents he has had in car and on bicycle, and his companion points out why they happened, and goes on to illustrate general rules of safety using the example of the Southern Railway.
