Have you ever wanted to see a former NASCAR race car be built for ACTUAL racing with professional guidance and not just someone doing it clickbait shenanigans? This is the place for you! I am building this car to go short track racing in Grand National Super Series! This car is a 2004 Ronnie Hopkins chassis used by Joe Gibbs Racing from 04-07. It was driven by Bobby Labonte, Aric Almirola, Joey Logano (who won Busch East title in 07 with it), and Jeff Anton.

In this video I start from ground zero after finishing the bodywork and figure out how to get the Dodge R5P7 engine mounted in the chassis which was configured for a small block chevy. Iconic NASCAR crew chief Doug Richert helps keep me on track and provides invaluable advice on what I should and should not do!
