It's time to prune the vineyard! In this video I walk through pruning my Catawba, Noiret, and Chardonel grape vines, explain the vineyard setup, trellis tightening, and the basics of grapevine pruning. I also cover propagating new plants from cuttings and protecting young vines with grow tubes.
I make wine and jam from my grapes — last year I got about 15 gallons of wine and 5 gallons of jelly. Follow along throughout the year as the vineyard blooms, grows, and reaches harvest!
