One of my favourite songs, full of nostalgia & melancholy. I love the use of the wine vintage analogy in the memories of favourite eras of a life.
Gordon Jenkins’ orchestration is a stunner.
I’ve recorded this at the same age Sinatra did in 1965, leading up to his then 50th birthday, just months away, just like myself.
