Vancouver Island Motorsports Circuit May 2017
End of the day Fun Run with all groups together. Not the best idea.
We got beginner drivers on course with fast cars, got track cars spilling out gasoline, got cars not passing properly, cars going off course, yellow flag all in four minutes. It's a track day, everyone should try to calm down. I'd like to take my family back home with my car in one piece.
At least got a couple laps in somewhat safely before heading out quickly for the ferries. Literally arrive within minutes in time to get on the boat.
3.5 hours trip from Vancouver to VIMC. 1.5 - 2 hours + wait time is on the ferry. Driving wise is very comfy and easy. Best place to stay near the track is Villa Eyrie Resort 25 min away. The view and service is phenomenal includes a helicopter pad too. 5 Stars.
