Now that the trailer has officially been posted, I wanted to share the soundtrack! The music was slowed down to fit the length of the trailer and was also covered with a bunch of voices and sound effects so it’s not super easy to hear the full thing. You do get to hear a snippet of it at its normal speed without any sound effects over it during the credits, but I wanted to dedicate a post to just the full song so I can have an excuse to brag about this masterpiece that I’ve been jamming to since I made the trailer. The song was made by music producer: Alzah studio, which can be found on Fiverr here:

I asked him to make a song that was inspired off of Hey Baby by Pitbull because, as you all probably know by now, that song is my absolute favorite of all time and I heavily associate it with my book series for an unexplainable reason. If song hyperfixations exist, then I have one on that song because I’ve been fucking obsessed with it since I was like 12 and have a million different versions of it saved to my phone. But I couldn’t use it due to copyright issues which meant I couldn’t sample it either. So I had him make a song that was inspired by it instead. So if it sounds vaguely familiar to you, that’s why 😉
I honestly have so much nostalgia with that song. Like specific memories of me listening to it in my bedroom late at night while daydreaming about my characters and looking out at the stars which is why I picked it. I’m super happy with how it turned out and can’t be more thankful for the folks that worked with me on this trailer 😭🙏
