This series aims at showcasing various women in STEM fields and sharing their experiences with anyone interested in pursuing the field.
Vika is a chemist from Ukraine. She's currently conducting her masters at ETH Zurich and hoping to pursue a PhD afterwards. Vika talks about inorganic chemistry and how it's a lot of abstract concepts and its in SOLAR CELLS and NANOparticles. She also brings up that she got into chemistry because she was training to go to the Chemistry Olimpiads. Her project deals specifically with perovskites (you can make quantum dots out of those and put them in LEDs). Finally she gives advice to anyone looking to pursue inorganic chemistry.
