Visitors of all ages learn of the mysterious craftsmen who produced such fine jewellery using precious stones from the further reaches of the known-world to make adornments for the arms and amour of warriors who step out from the pages of “Beowulf”.
The stories of these men and women come to life in the “Mead Hall” within the exhibit where children can dress-up as Anglo Saxons.
