A 33-year-old woman fell through a manhole while walking on a sidewalk in Brazil on June 3. A man a few feet away saw the incident and rushed to help her. The fire department rescued her and rushed her to the hospital, where she was treated for moderate injuries. Authorities said two men moved the cover out of place less than six hours before the incident occurred. City officials said the manhole cover has been repaired to prevent future problems.
