A father and son who are both police officers from St. Cloud, Florida, saved a family from a sinking boat on May 2. The boat was about two miles from the lake shore during a storm. The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office used a helicopter to find the boat and guide the rescuers to it. All six people who were on the boat returned safely to shore, and no serious injuries were reported.
