The history with me and this song goes way back. Back in may of 2021, my best ch accomplishment was mixed verse on hard. Then i got a 125 hard tech, then an expert tech, and finally i have a full song hard fc.
Somehow everything in this song was very consistent for me except for the transition into mini-tripped verse. Usually i would get it in 1/20 runs which is still way lower than it should be, but for some reason, today it was more like 1/50 and even that is generous. I'd say in the hour of grinding today, I had less than 10 runs past the transition. I tried so many things to try and make it consistent and only one slightly worked. If it weren't for that transition, I probably would have like 20 fcs of this song by now. I've literally had 2 runs where i only missed the transition and fc'd everything else.
I had to do this song on a 2/2 because my world tour has an inconsistent 2/1 and over strums and also a 2/2 just works really well for this song. Thankfully no chokes after the last fast strumming in mixed verse. Definitely one of my best reactions. I'm just so glad to finally have this over with.
