Discover how to find victory in the valley—the low places in life carved by repeated pressure and prone to emotional flooding. Drawing on Deborah's story (Judges 5), Dr. Anita explains that while the valley is difficult, it can be a fertile and fruitful place.
The central battle is against fear, the enemy of fruit. Fear appears in three ways: Cares (Anxieties) that demand hypervigilance, using Riches (Power/Achievement) as a shield, and running from pain (Pleasures).
To gain victory, we must rewrite the story of suffering, recognizing that God carried you, and having the courage to declare, "Let the weak say, I am strong". The ultimate victory is delivery from fear, transforming us from a survivor to a soldier. We are called to worship our way through the valley.
