Curious Reader | Victorian Female Scientists To Read #victober @CuriousReader | Uploaded September 2020 | Updated October 2024, 7 minutes ago.
Hello everyone! Today I am sharing with you a list of British or Scottish female scientists active during the Victorian Era - who also wrote books on their work or scientific interests in some capacity. Some of the books are directly related to their field - others focus in on their own lives thus giving us a portrayal of the life of a Victorian female scientist - not a story you see everyday. I hope that I might have inspired you to check one of these out, or other Victorian-era nonfiction which is surely as rich as the fiction from said-era was. Happy Reading!
