This is some 8mm film (Standard 8) that was filmed by my Grandad in 1963. The footage is of an aeroplane that crashed into a house after it tried to land on a nearby playing field but because there were children in the field they pulled up but hit the house. Unfortunately, the pilots were killed although the people in the house were okay. The house was too damaged to repair and was pulled down. A garden now replaces the house.
