Join me as I head out to Natural Bridge Va. To kayak fish the James River... myself and family
Decided to take a kayaking trip down the James River, an 8 mile adventure with small class 1 and 2 rapids and a few calm fishing holes supposedly loaded with smallies ...
I had my fears being a large man at 6ft tall 350 lbs going down a river with some small rapis and fast moving water , but after speaking to so many people about their experiences it sounded
Worth the while to me and the gang ...
There was so many beautiful things to see , the water was so clear and the rock was beautiful
Not much to to say on the fishing as I didn't see anything, nor did I catch anything ..
The rapids were tough on my fishing kayak
I eneded up flipping a few times and losing a nice rod and reel and some Tackle... bruised my side on a big rock and hurt my pride a little
But overall the sights and adventure was amazing... I'd do it again with better planning and a more suitable kayak for that kinda water
As long as my family had a great time than so did I....
