Sildenafil cream works for women, and the results are worth talking about.

You know it as Viagra, but researchers have developed a topical version that applies directly to genital tissue. The early findings are promising.

In a phase 2b trial with 200 women experiencing arousal problems, those using sildenafil cream saw improvements in arousal, better orgasm response, and less distress about intimacy compared to placebo. The mechanism is the same: increased blood flow to the genitals makes arousal easier. Because it's topical, there are fewer side effects like headaches or flushing.

It's available now by prescription through compounding pharmacies in select states, though not yet fully FDA approved. More trials are underway.

Women's intimate health is finally getting the research and attention it deserves.

Save this if you want to discuss it with your provider.
