I got bored yesterday night and decided to do another generation loss video, which took me half of last night and all of today to do so. Since I don't have a capture card, I used my phone as the capture card, and recorded my Panasonic's blue screen with me going through the OSD (on-screen display) and my Sanyo DVD player's screen on one tape, then duplicated it onto another tape and so on for exactly 40 generations until the original video itself that was recorded was absolutely destroyed at the very end. For those that will probably ask me, "Was this done on real hardware and not a VHS app or AVISynth?"

My answer to you is yes. This was done on real hardware with a CRT television as well with my Sanyo VWM-800 VCR in mono only since I didn't want to hear Hi-Fi buzzing getting louder and louder and so on, so I left it off. It was time-consuming, but I loved making this!

Equipment used:
RCA 27R411T 25-inch CRT TV (video output)
Sanyo VWM-800 VCR (playback)
Panasonic VCRPlus+ Omnivision VCR (recorder)
ZTE Rapido smartphone (makeshift capture card)
Windows Live Movie Maker (editing the generations together, amplifying the individual videos' volumes, and then labeling the generations while trimming out any unwanted parts in the individual videos themselves altogether)

Tapes used:
Quantegy T-120/E-180 VHS tape
Maxell T-120/E-180 VHS tape
