For World Vegan Month, we're excited to welcome Dr. Crystal Heath, vegan veterinarian and Co-Founder of Our Honor, a veterinary advocacy organization. Dr. Heath has been documenting the spread of the H5N1 virus in dairy herds and egg facilities and is helping lead the effort to call on the AVMA to end its support for horrific practices like Ventilation Shutdown.
She also exposes how massive government subsidies—our tax dollars—fuel the climate crisis, public health threats, and systemic animal cruelty.
In conversation with our Farmed Animals Campaigner, Lia Wilbourn, and hosted by Campaigns Director Lisa Levinson, we’ll hear about her work supporting veterinarians to speak out, get updates on the bird flu crisis, and join her in urging media and politicians to break their silence—before it puts us all at risk of another, worse pandemic.
