While visiting the Toy Story world in Kingdom Hearts 3, we are treated to a mock commercial for a made up game, Verum Rex. If you study the clip closely you can see influence from the director of Kingdom Hearts, Tetsuya Normura's previous project, Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
This is Tetsuya Nomura's Tribute to what would go on to become Final Fantasy XV, Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
