a short clip of the setting sun with Venus in between the sun and Earth ...
what a site!
... appreciative thank you's to the Camera Shop in Traverse City who set me up with a 400mm lens, and extender giving me the equivalent reach of a 600mm lens, plus a sun filter and a mamouth giant heavy tripod to hold the lens pretty steady. Fun stuff!
now, anyone know how to line up all the sun frames so I can show the actual transit of Venus? well, until the sun set. I thought it would be as easy as an 'auto align' action in photoshop, but have not been able to figure it out.
