Tiny faces. Big eyes. Venomous bite.
Two Javan slow lorises found in a tyre factory area in Subang, West Java, have now been given a second chance in the wild.
After a wildlife conflict mitigation and education session with BBKSDA Jabar, our partners, YIARI, PT Evoluzione Tyres, and AirNav Indonesia, the two protected primates were released into Cagar Alam Gunung Burangrang.
Now, instead of navigating an industrial site, they’re back where they belong - in the forest.
