Can you make a real Philly Cheesesteak using venison?
In this video, I try turning wild game into a classic Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich. The challenge is that venison is much leaner than beef, which means it can dry out fast if you don't cook it right.
I keep things simple and cook it with thin sliced venison, onions , melted cheese and a few green peppers to see if it can compete against a traditional cheesesteak.
This is a perfect wild game recipe for anyone with deer meat in the freezer, whether you're cooking at camp, on a Blackstone griddle, or at home.
