About: The VELUX Roof Window – Top Hung, or Top-Hinged, is ideal for in-reach applications, such as an attic conversion. Each roof window is designed for easy access and maintenance. They are manually operated. Turn a lever and simply push to open up to 45 degrees. A locking mechanism comes standard with each roof window to maintain home security. A ventilation flap can be used to allow fresh air in without opening the roof window. VELUX roof windows must be installed on a roof between 15 and 55 degrees. Sizes MK06, MK08, PK10, SK06, and UK08 satisfy egress requirements for emergency escape.
