VelociCoaster was one of my most anticipated rides on my recent Roller Coaster trip to Florida. Friends had rated it highly, some have it as their number one roller coaster in the world! but with over 950 roller coasters now under my belt, could this possibly be one for the top tier for me? How does it compare to Busch Garden's RMC coaster Iron Gwazi, its main competition in Florida, and how does it compare to the best Multi Launch coasters around the world from Intamin, Mack and Vekoma, namely Taron at Phantasialand, Maverick at Cedar Point, Pantheon at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Helix at Liseberg, Abyssus at Energylandia and Icon at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
Could this be the Apex Predator of roller coasters? what are its signature top hat and Mosasaurus roll elements like to ride? all this and more, including my unique mapped layout overview of the ride in this review video.
