Scorned Magnamalo are Fanged Wyverns and Variants of Magnamalo first introduced in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. Its appearance differences from a standard Magnamalo are its elongated, oddly jagged arm-blades and fangs, its larger and more jagged shells on the shoulder, its tail being in expanded state at all times, and is missing the right eye and horn. Its body is now a dark purple with red scars all over its body, similar to the appearance of the Apex Monsters found in Kamura. Its body is shrouded in Hellfire at all times. Scorned Magnamalo has been spotted in a variety of areas such as the Citadel, Shrine Ruins, Flooded Forest (MHRise), Lava Caverns, and Coral Palace.

Espinas is a Flying Wyvern introduced in Monster Hunter Frontier Season 2.0. Its appearance is physically similar to a Rathian, but alongside scales its body is covered in hot pink spikes full of venom and rough green armor plating. A long, pink, venom-filled horn protrudes from the front of its head, in a similar fashion to Monoblos. Venomous thorns also protrude from its body, wings, tail, feet, and head. Its body, tail, and feet are bigger and more muscular than those of other Flying Wyverns. It has four pink claws upon its feet. Red-orange veins will appear when it is in its enraged state, similar to Tigrex.

Mizutsune is a Leviathan first introduced in Monster Hunter Generations. Like most other Leviathans, Mizutsune has a long, slender body. However, it is one of the few Leviathans to actually have fur on its body. This dark purple fur covers its chest, underbelly, legs and tail. Its scales are light colored and resemble those of a fish. Its head has a long snout and is beautifully adorned by many fin-like appendages. These fins are pink with yellow markings, and they can also be seen on its back and tail. Its feet are said to be quite different from other Leviathans and allow Mizutsune to move swiftly on land.

Risen Kushala Daora / 傀異克服 クシャルダオラ is an Elder Dragon and Risen variant of Kushala Daora first introduced in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. Its appearance is noticeably different from a standard Kushala Daora, with most of its body darkened with certain parts (their heads and torsos) retaining their metallic grey coloring. Its body is covered in wounds resembling burns, which have a bright orange glow upon entering its Risen state. This version of Kushala Daora has overcome being afflicted by the Qurio and has become more powerful as a result. It gains more wind based attacks including being able to fire larger blasts of wind by swiping its claws and creating a giant explosion using wind.

Nu Udra is a massive monster heavily resembling an octopus. It has six large limbs which it uses for locomotion and attacking, with its remaining two limbs being reduced and used to shield its mouth. Its dark green skin is covered in blue and black stripes, but at most times appears dark due to the creature being covered in a thick layer of black oilsilt at all times, which can be ignited at will when Nu Udra is enraged. The tentacles and mantle of the monster are covered in many thorny spines. Its most striking features are its bioluminescent blue eye stalks, along with glowing spots on the end of its main six limbs; these glowing spots act as sensory organs as the cephalopod itself is mostly blind.

Lagiacrus are Leviathans introduced in Monster Hunter 3. Its body roughly resembling a crocodile with a long neck. Its body is covered in blue shells along its head, back, and the base of the tail, while the underside is light brown in color. Adorning its head is a pair of brown color horns, with three pairs of dermal spikes of the same color on its back. Its tail flare out horizontally at the base, before turning laterally flat with a fin at the end. Its mouth, in addition to a jaw full of small teeth, it also has a roll of shell spikes on both upper and lower jaw, arranged like a second row of jaw.

Malzeno is an Elder Dragon first introduced in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. Its appearrance has a body shape reminiscent of a European dragon, similar to Velkhana, with dark scales covering its body along with swarms of small, flying leech-like creatures called Qurio on its neck, chest, and front legs. Its wings, while being dull grey when looked at from above, have a red underside. The wing membrane connects separately to the wing fingers, and each wing possesses a single, giant talon. There is also a pair of smaller fins, similar in coloration to the wings at the base of its tail. Three of the fingers on its front legs end in a curved, giant claw. It has two large, golden horns, as well as frills extending from both sides of its neck that resemble a cowl. Its tail ends in three large, movable prongs that can be used to grab small prey. It can cover its body with its wings like a cape.

Arkveld is a large quadruped monster covered in grayish white scales, white fur and armor plating. It has ram-like horns on each side of its head, a thick armored tail, a large plated lower jaw and a mouth full of sharp teeth. Similar to Berukyurosu, Arkvelds main feature are its clawed wings which have huge armored chain-like tendrils attached to them which can extend and retract at will. Unlike in Berukyurosu, where its chains are made out of elongated wing fingers, Arkvelds tendrils are made of an array of interlocking scales attached to its wrists. Its wing membranes are relatively small and are also covered in white fur. Despite this, it is still capable of flight.

Jin Dahaad is an enormous monster with a long, serpentine body and four limbs. Its head is small, with no visible eyes and a bottom jaw capable of splitting in two, as well as several sets of metallic, jagged horns forming a hood near where the head meets the neck. Its neck is long, surrounded on either side by metallic plates similar in shape to ribs and vertebrae. A row of upward-pointing, rod-shaped plates grow on top of the monsters shoulders, while another row grows horizontally across them. A similar arrangement is also present on its hips. Its chest has several large spikes protruding outwards, and the outline of its ribcage is seemingly visible. Its limbs continue the pattern of plates seen on the neck, with the forelimbs specifically having an extra row of spikes above the wrists, and ending in angular claws. Its tail is long and sinuous, featuring rod-like plates like on the shoulders and neck across its length, and ending in an arrangement of spines pointing in various directions

Its appearance is noticeably different from a standard Teostra, with most of its body darkened with the hair on its mane and tail appearing more orange and yellow, or even white. Its body is covered in wounds resembling burns, which have a bright orange glow upon entering its Risen state. This version of Teostra has overcome being afflicted by the Qurio and has become more powerful as a result. It gains more fire attacks including the ability to breathe multiple streams of fire at targets along with being able to create a more devastating fiery explosion which sends fire balls out from it.

Gore Magala is a very unique monster, sharing traits and similarities to that of other Elder Dragons, possessing six limbs, including the clawed wings on its back. This is because it is an immature elder dragon itself. Its overall appearance and stance resembles a quadrupedal wyvern. Its body is covered in dark plates, with notable features including the hidden feelers that are folded alongside its face, the lack of visible eyes and fanged jaws that are actually parts of its external armor plates. The other unique part is its wings, which are covered in jet-black fur that resemble a tattered and ragged cape. The claws on its wings are extremely prehensile, and even seem to possess opposable thumbs. They are used for grabbing, help at running and maintaining stability. When not engaged in combat, Gore Magala tends to cloak its body with its wings by latching them onto its back.
