This is not a joke. The programs that many of you know and love called Vegas Movie Studio & Vegas Movie Studio Platinum have been cancelled and retired permanently. There is no Vegas Movie Studio 18 and Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 18. The new versions released this week by Magix software, have nothing to do with Vegas Movie Studio. Magix has simply rebranded their own program called Magix Movie Edit Pro.
DO NOT blindly buy the upgrade to version 18, before you download and test the trial version. Make up your own mind, before spending any money.
Please also be warned, that MAGIX is refusing to refund anyone who makes a mistake and thinks they are buying version 18 of Vegas Movie Studio.

Vegas Pro is still here and not being retired.
