Hi friends! Thank you to everyone who requested Vegan Sesame Chicken! Be careful who you share this veganized Chinese restaurant dish with because they are sure to ask for more! Luckily, it's pretty easy to make. Especially if you already have some Chickeny Chickless Seitan on hand.
If you want to dive into making plant-based Sesame Chicken but don't have seitan on hand, please feel free to sub the vegan protein of your choice, such as extra firm or pressed tofu, tempeh, or store-bought vegan chicken.
If you are gluten-free, sub in your favourite gluten-free vegan protein and use gluten-free tamari or other gf soy sauce alternatives instead of regular soy sauce and dark soy sauce.
