Ingredients:
Truvia baking blend 115g
Cocoa chips 8tsp
Salt 1tsp
Flour 170g
Bicarbonate of soda 1.5tsp
Peanut oil 180ml
Vanilla essence 2tsp
Cider vinegar 4tsp
Water 300ml
Recipe:
(NB: we halved the above ingredients save for the water, mixed it in two lots then added the 300ml of water. You don't have to do this if you have a bigger mixing bowl).
Mix Truvia cocoa chips, salt, flour and bicarbonate of soda together.
Add oil, vinegar and the vanilla essence and mix that in as well.
Add water and mix in.
Pour mixture into a cake tin and put in the oven for about half an hour at 180 degrees Celsius.
For the icing:
Ingredients:
Margarine 55g
Cocoa chips 30g
Soy milk 4tbs
Truvia baking blend 70g
Vanilla essence 1tsp
Recipe:
Heat everything except the vanilla essence in a pan and stir until it looks like icing. Add the vanilla essence and leave to cool. Then ice cake with it.
Make your cake super duper romantic by cutting it into a heart shape and eating the surplus bits.
