Vegan and Gluten Free / Living with Celiac
The decision to go vegan can be challenging, but going vegan and gluten free is even harder. In today's video, I sit down with my friend Debi from Chew on Vegan as she shares celiac disease story and how to go vegan and gluten free. Living with celiac is something that impacts 1 person out of 100. Debi talks about the celiac disease symptoms she had to deal with while overcoming a gluten intolerance. Although challenging at first, being a gluten free vegan is not as hard as it seems as finding gluten free and vegan food options is much easier now than it was just a few years ago.
Discussing conditions such as celiac disease, ulcerative colitis and others can be difficult, so I appreciate the time Debi spent opening up and sharing not only her journey with celiac disease, but also discussing what gluten intolerance is, different gluten intolerance symptoms to look for as well as her gluten intolerance test.
