This is a Vegan Grilled Cheese Shootout with a few widely available vegan cheeses
The contenders are Daiya Cheddar and Mozerella, Follow your Heart Cheddar and Mozerella, Tofutti American Slices, and Chao Creamy Origional.
The clear winner in my opinion was the Daiya Shreds. These are awesome but only if melted (usually in earth balance and coconut milk), or melted with other things in general. Still, you have to watch the quantity. Every shred matters and you can quickly use too much on pizza and other things.
The Chao Slices were my 2nd choice. I would try the other flavors, but maybe not the original again. It showed the most potential.
The vegan cheese world is changing semi annually so the future looks great.
