Hailing from Olsztyn, Warmia-Masuria in Poland, VARMIA has melded black, pagan, and folk metal across the past decade. Culturally inspired by their Baltic roots, the group have used instrumentation including tagelharpa, goat horn, lyre (gęśle), wood tuba, krivula and various percussion and vocal techniques to convey a wholly unique music.
Now, the band are unveiling their fifth full-length album - 'Lauks'! You can pre-order the album on CD and blood-colored vinyl:

In Polish, the word “północ” means both “the north” and “midnight”, while “dzień” means “day”. This is an anthem to our northern wilderness, to the land of wolf packs, ancient forests, and pure waters. This is the chant that resonates through every day spent here. The day of the North.
