After driving for 1,400 miles and sleeping in some not so picturesque places, I found an abandoned road in Spain that led me to total peace and seclusion in a small opening in the middle of this beautiful setting.

The first of the Vlogs that Im going to try and do every week or so.
I have been on the road just over a week now, Finding my feet with the whole vanlife thing.
Today has been tough.
I got trapped on a mountainside
slid into a ditch
damaged the van getting towed out
got the interior absolutely filthy
and drove through 3 hours of storms.
But we made it through and are now recouping at beautiful Camping Rosario in Portugal.

After a few horrible weeks on the road, I make it to my good friends Tims & Julie.
They were kind enough to put me up and get me away from all the horribleness during the easing of Lockdown, and from there managed to pull me out of my funk and we had a great time, from building a mini-amboleast to tie-diving to pizza making.
