Trent from the Youtube channel “TheFinePrint” lives in a van and lives the Van Life, now unlike most people who live in a van, he does not use a laptop, instead he used a full size PC, and when I say full size, I MEAN FULL SIZE.
He does not simply have a PC in his van, he has a gaming Rig that he can play games on for 15 hours straight, all powered by his solar panels & battery system.
Trent’s gaming PC is complete with a 27” monitor, Tower case with LED lights, keyboard, mouse, a swing arm microphone and audio mixer.
Trent runs all of his van and his PC with a 400 watt solar power system on the roof and batteries under the bed.
Trent said, this PC may not be the most ideal setup, and takes up a lot of space and power, and overall is just not practical in a van, but I use it because I still had it storage, but I will probably end up transitioning to a laptop soon.

► Definition of Boondocking – There are many definitions for boondocking, from dry camping in a developed camp ground to staying overnight at a rest area. But mainly it means to camp anywhere without electricity, water or sewer regardless of location. Which means you can boondock in the forest or city streets.
