We venture off on our own in our self-built campervan through northern Germany. We try some city camper parks and wild camping surrounded by nature. We also try a homestay on a farm which turns out to be the best of all. We sample the history, sights and food of northern Germany.

We travel northeast to Lubeck and admire the gothic-style Holsten gate and tall churches.

We travel out of the cities and towns and into the countryside, using the surrounded by nature feature on park4night we find a peaceful car park in the woods for an overnight stop.
Finally, we try a Homestay on a Farm which was really nice so we stayed for a few days. The young couple that loved there made us feel really welcome, we have fresh eggs from their chickens and fruit from the orchard. Google map link for this is goo.gl/maps/caUHm112NkBLzsr58
