Finally, a dream come true for me!
I have always wanted (and planned) to cover this awesome song by Vanessa Carlton for years now but U held back because my goal was, if I were to cover this, I will use the best piano sound I can get, and now, everything fell into place.
This song is challenging for both hands and the foot. What with those fast passages that repeats frequently throughout the song and the fact that you have to control your pedaling because not all notes need to be dampened/sustained and are go be played in some kind of staccato. I have an issue with my feet (hence I cannot play fast beats on drums) so maybe my pedaling here is off in some places.
I am also just a grade 1 piano student so this song, along with the techniques required to play it, is way above my level. But I still wanted to try and see. I hope that one fay I can redo this song on an 88 key keyboard. Using a semi weighted key synth for this makes the task even more difficult. Lol.
But anyway, I hope you'll like this first attempt! 😊🤗
