Vance returns to Ohio plant where his grandfather worked @local12WKRC

Vice President JD Vance is set to speak Friday afternoon in Middletown at the Cleveland-Cliffs steel plant.

It was known as Armco steel when his grandfather worked there for nearly 40 years.

Vance will be joined by U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright to promote efforts to expand U.S. manufacturing.

Cleveland-Cliffs is currently pushing for a major modernization project at the plant.
