Derwisch also tells a story. I always imagine myself wandering in a vast and dark city in the orient. It's completely new to me and I don't know where to go. I also can't get out of the city, because there's a sandstorm in the desert, so I'm trapped. Suddenly I hear music and see some light in a huge tent, so I'm going in there. In it, there are some people playing instruments and in the center of the tent, there's the Derwisch dancing and turning and turning, meditating while he draws his circles. It's mesmerizing and I feel like on rails, as I walked through the tent. After awhile I stand outside the tent again, but with a different state of mind, knowing that there is something fascinating in this dark city, something beautiful. So I'm not scared anymore and I feel like I now know the heart of this place.
This is the fifth track of the (in)-TIME-EP I will release them all in the next weeks, on every Thursday. After that you can download the whole EP for free.
Every sound you hear is made with my WARWICK Alien fourstring bass. So, chords, leadlines, basslines, even the percussion is made with this instrument.
