We’ve made it to Chipiona, Spain, just as Storm Francis rolls in 🌧️. After a failed attempt to park at a busy shopping centre aire, we settle into the official Chipiona aire with electric, services, showers, and laundry.

This vlog is all about real van life — heavy rain, strong winds, flooded shoes, laundry days, headaches, and waiting out the storm. We also notice that the old wild camping area appears to have disappeared, which explains why the aire is now much busier than before.

Despite the gloomy weather, we explore the beach, survive the storm, and end our stay on a high with the Three Kings (Reyes Magos) parade, which turns out to be one of the best we’ve seen in Spain. The whole town comes together, sweets are flying, and the atmosphere is amazing.

Sometimes van life isn’t sunshine and sunsets — but we’re warm, dry, and grateful. Thanks for coming along with us.
