Even the strongest people can experience the deepest and darkest valleys. However, that doesn't mean that the light won't break over the hills once again.
I found this old piece buried in my computer's hard drive and decided that it fit my DnD character, Aerdeth, perfectly. Quiet and sad, but with some hope for growth and moving forward. Aerdeth is a wood elf ranger who has suffered a terrible loss early on in her life. Her story revolves around finding a new family and finally letting go of the guilt she bears. Will she ever get there? Who knows? (I would need a dnd group to play a campaign with her. She's only been in one one-shot. I'm a DnD newbie, unfortunately.)
Maybe someday I'll write some songs specific to her story since I love her so much! I don't know. I'll see about if I have time in the coming months. I've been super busy lately!!! I'm WAY behind on commissions and school is kicking my butt, so things have been hectic over here.

Engel and I both had issues surrounding our schedules, so that made it difficult to release this in a timely fashion. =w=
However, we got it done!
I wrote the lyrics a while back and asked my followers on tumblr for auditions to take the other part. It was an insanely difficult choice, but I finally decided with Engel, with whom Ive done a bunch of other collaborations. Shes a lot of fun to work with!

A piece inspired and based on the lovely Markiplier fangame, Hearts and Heroes.
Im not entirely sure what to say about how I went about writing this piece. After watching Mark trying to hold back tears for a sold half hour at the end of his play-through, I couldnt help but know this game was something special. So I wanted to do something special to celebrate it and the team that worked tirelessly for 2 years to make such a game.
I dont know. Take what you will from the melody. I think it turned out really pretty! Thanks for letting me a part of this community.

Yep! Its been a while since I uploaded something that has nothing to do with specials due to a holiday (no, I dont do Thanksgiving specials... That seems just odd to me...) and this has been a song on my to-do list for a very long time.
