Long before fantasy RPGs were commonplace on consoles, Namco delivered a colorful, action-packed mythological journey with Valkyrie no Densetsu — a port of their 1989 arcade game that found a second life on the TurboGrafx-16 (PC Engine) in 1990.
A spiritual successor to Valkyrie no Bōken on the Famicom, this title blends top-down arcade-style action with light RPG mechanics, offering a whimsical and challenging adventure steeped in Norse-inspired fantasy.
