Regular gunner is fine and even more fine if you use a juicier gun over the stock ones. Stock auto sniper destroys V2s. Elite fencers need VsPsnl + temp coating to 1hit the V2s with their stock weapon or just use Marina on the last one.

Stutter stepping is a perfectly valid strategy.
