Valero Texas City Refinery’s invested in workforce development through a $187,000 contribution to The College of the Mainland. Funding helped provide a new glass distillation unit and provides hands-on training for more than 600 Process Technology (PTECH) students.
The unit allows students to learn, practice, and gain real-world experience using equipment similar to what’s found in the refining industry, helping to better prepare them for successful careers in energy and manufacturing.
Valero is proud to support programs that strengthen local talent pipelines and empower the workforce of tomorrow.
