In the summer of 2024, Valero Energy, working with Texas Biomedical Research Institute, launched the inaugural “Valero Young Scientists Program,” giving nearly 40 high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to engage in hands-on laboratory research alongside professional scientists during a four-week immersive experience.
