Taking a Pattern from an Extant Garment - Sports Corselet is Back! Redthreaded 2021-02-01 | In this demo I show a couple of ways to take a pattern off of an existing garment, with tips, tricks, and ramblings along the way. A couple notes: this is assuming a garment that you own, and that is a study piece or isn't "precious." If you're planning to take patterns from garments in historical collections that are not your own, you should confer with the curator about the methods they would prefer.
