"4000 feet per second = 2727.27 MPH.
3 minutes at 2727 MPH = (2727 MPH / 60 minutes = 45.45 MPM) x 3 = 136.35 Miles, not 65 miles.
The video commentator says the V-2 rocket achieved 65 miles in altitude in three minutes.
It's amazing how FAST the ground falls away from this rocket. Compare its rate of speed to the comparatively SLOW rocket launches today, and ask yourself, "..if 2700 MPH looks super fast in this old footage, then how SLOW are NASA's launches?"
This comparison lends credence to the "phallic-shaped BALLOON" theory that some claim is NASA's way of FAKING launches.
The website "RedShift Live" says this:
"If a rocket is launched from the surface of the Earth, it needs to reach a speed of at least 7.9 kilometers per second (4.9 miles per second/25,872 FEET per second) in order to reach space. This speed of 7.9 kilometers per second is known as the orbital velocity, it corresponds to more than 20 times the speed of sound." 😲
The speed of sound is 761 MPH!
761 x 20 = 15,220 MPH (which is 22,322 FEET PER SECOND!)
That is 5.5 TIMES FASTER than the V-2 rocket you JUST watched. When you view a NASA or SpaceX launch, does their rocket LOOK like it's going FIVE TIMES faster than the rocket in this footage?
I'll answer FOR you. NO. NO, it doesn't.
The rocket in this footage goes faster than ANY rocket NASA has ever launched. I believe that their "rockets" actually ARE balloons with fireworks in the tail section. Just the speed comparison alone shows that NASA is deviously dishonest, and that their "rockets" are nothing but cheap tricks - ILLUSIONS meant to mislead a trusting public.
