Bad art advice that everyone thinks is good e r g o j o s h 2022-02-13 | There's lots of good art advice out there...things that almost everyone agrees is good. But Its not necessarily mandatory for everyone, and people shouldn't be forced to make art for any agenda. A community of 'selfish' artists creating whats true to themselves adds beauty and variety to the world. An ENTIRE community of artists catering to every single popular belief from the same perspective, creates a boring, lifeless world with no color. I'd rather live in the former. Don't get me wrong, its great when individuals or even groups of artists create for a cause they are passionate about. However, too often people constantly nag every artist they see to create for X morally justifiable reason. The only job an artist must do is to be themselves and share their unique vision with the world. In the case that it is aligned towards a bigger cause, it should be completely up to their decision. Its similar to how trendy it is these days to claim that every 'influencer' who doesn't speak out against a topic, is in support of it. This needs to stop but first artists need to become aware of whats going on. EASY ANIMATION IN PROCREATE 5.2!! e r g o j o s h 2021-10-17 | I made a funny cat video! But seriously Procreate is pretty fun to learn animating if you love drawing and don't like the basic ink look most animations have. This is especially great because animating in Procreate lets you add a little something extra to your current drawings if you spend a little extra time! I recommend animating with Procreate first if you already have it, or try out flipaclip - I hear its pretty good too!
