This is a video and pictures of Utopia of the Seas Railway first ever whiskey tasting experience on 12-21-24. We were honored to be the first to get to enjoy this trial run of what looks to become a permanent staple.  We were excited to be the first group to experience the new whiskey tasting.
All the whiskey was from the same distillery it was Uncle Nearest. There were 3 shots with different styles with a story behind the brand and discussions of the flavors and notes that were sensed. At the end there was a Sarsaparilla Old fashioned given to each participant at the end that was on point. Very smooth, great old fashioned.
During the event, there were moving scenes of the wild west and authentic train sounds and feels.
   It was their first outing, so there were some hiccups in the presentation, but we were honored to be the first to get to experience the Whiskey tasting.
