I feel like this is the kind of song that doesn't work well with vocal synths, so I'm shocked how well it turned 😊 !

I had fun mixing! I saw the main vocals had flanger applied, at least I think that's what it was, so I added it here :) ! There is bleed through from the original vocal in the instrumental I used, so sometimes you will hear a bit of Rod Stewart's voice. However, I did recreate the background vocals! I made a ust in praat, then used that ust to make an utau sing it to get the pitch data. I probably went overboard with hard panning the background vocals, but the fact that they didn't bleed into the mid in the original probably means I was on the right track :) !
