Sailors on the USS Abraham Lincoln are being restrained from jumping overboard after 250+ days at sea in Trump’s Iran war. Food is unfit, hygiene supplies are gone, and families are furious with the Pentagon.
There are deteriorating conditions on the Nimitz-class carrier carrying 5,000 sailors. What started as a short deployment has become a record-breaking stretch with no port calls. Meals have been reduced to the same limited rations for two weeks straight. Basic hygiene items ran out long ago. Mental health has collapsed to the point that crew members are being physically stopped from going over the side.
