U.S. Marine Corps recruits with Charlie Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, conduct pugil sticks training event at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, California. Recruits are taught Marine Corps Martial Arts Program techniques that instill basic self-defense that they will execute throughout recruit training during events like body sparring and pugil sticks to help build a warrior ethos and Esprit de Corps.
